Gentlemen, warm up those vocal cords and get excited because Penn State's premier all-male a cappella group, The Statesmen, will be holding auditions in the Spring of 2019! Show us what you've got on January 14th or 15th! Auditions will take place from 8 pm- 10 pm in 125 Thomas Building. What will you need to prepare?
The Statesmen ask that you prepare a verse and a chorus from two songs of contrasting styles. If you have vocal percussion skills, prepare an excerpt to showcase those as well. We want you to show us what you can bring to the group -- as a singer and an artist.
What are the Statesmen looking for?
The Statesmen are looking for the best tenors, baritones, basses, vocal percussionists, soloists and arrangers that Penn State has to offer. That being said, The Statesmen are brothers. We'll need you to fit into our family, which is just as important as your musical abilities.
